Advisory Board for Migration and Integration

Tasks

The Advisory Board for Migration and Integration (BMI for short) is committed to the equal coexistence of people of different nationalities, cultures and religions in Idar-Oberstein. It also represents the interests of residents with a migration background vis-à-vis the city authorities. The advisory board consists of 21 members, 14 of whom are elected and 7 of whom are delegated by the political groups represented in the city council.
