New management at the city marketing association

This was taken over in the fall by Holger Baeskow-Ripp from the business development department, who is supported by Caroline Pehlke and Sarah Wagner.

The City Marketing Board recently bid farewell to long-standing Managing Director Eva Grosser at a joint lunch. Grosser took over as Managing Director in May 2016 following the departure of Christian Friedel. In addition to this role, she continued to work in the city administration's press office - as she still does today. As part of her role as Managing Director, Eva Grosser was responsible for coordinating the city marketing vouchers. Thanks in part to Grosser's tireless efforts, these vouchers are still an extremely successful means of retaining purchasing power. More than half a million euros have remained with the redeeming acceptance points in the region. In addition to supplying the issuing points, she was also responsible for the accounting and administration of the vouchers. For several years, she also organized the Christmas market in Idar and the traditional vintage car drive, which was a logistical masterpiece. Eva Grosser carried out all these tasks with great motivation, dedication and absolute reliability. The board members thanked Eva Grosser for her many years of good and cooperative collaboration. Lord Mayor Frank Frühauf is also Chairman of the City Marketing Association. In this role, he and his two deputies, Anja Becker (Vereinigte Volksbank) and Leonhard Stibitz (Kreissparkasse Birkenfeld), praised Grosser highly and wished her all the best for the future.
