For this purpose, Hohlstraße must be fully closed to through traffic from Friday, April 11 to Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in the area between house number 31 and the junction with Auf der Sandfels. The detour will be via Jahnstraße. Residents of the affected area of Hohlstraße and the adjacent side streets are asked to park their vehicles outside the expansion area.
The work will be carried out in two construction phases. The first section runs from house number 31 to the Stöppengarten / Stettiner Straße junction. The second from there to the junction Auf der Sandfels. On Monday and Tuesday, April 14 and 15, 2025, milling work will be carried out in the entire area of the two construction sections. On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the asphalt work in the first construction section will be carried out under full road closure. From Thursday, April 17, 2025, the asphalt work in the second construction section will begin. Here, uphill local traffic will be guided past the construction site in one-way traffic. The work is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, and the closure to through traffic will be lifted on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
The city administration asks residents and road users for their understanding for the inconvenience caused by the construction work.
