From February 1, 1999, Christa Di Cato initially worked as a cleaner in the Haus der Jugend as part of the Hamburg model and was permanently employed by the municipal administration on September 1, 2000. After ten years at the Nahbollenbach daycare center, she moved to the Göttschied elementary school and has now gone into well-deserved retirement.
"Our cleaning staff do an important job that is also physically demanding," explained Mayor Marx. "Everyone wants their area to be clean and tidy, yet this work is often underestimated." Marx therefore paid tribute to Christa Di Cato's many years of commitment and thanked her for her work. Christoph Alt from the municipal building management department also emphasized the good performance of the future pensioner: "We were very satisfied with her work, she was always there when she was needed." With a certificate of thanks and gifts, those present bid Christa Di Cato farewell on her retirement and wished her all the best for the new phase of her life.
