Tessa Duncan has a doctorate in psychology and is a qualified clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. After ten years in this branch of her profession and a further 20 years as an independent management consultant, she now concentrates almost exclusively on writing. She has become a multiple bestselling author under the pseudonym Marie Lacrosse. "Who Disturbs Oblivion", the first volume of the "Canterbury Cases", was her first novel for dtv-Verlag.
In the second volume, "Who Howls with Wolves", therapist Lily Brown also investigates. During a bank robbery, Police Sergeant Martin Gordon shoots his colleague Clark Jarrett. Was it just an accident? This is not the first time there has been conflict between the two police officers. Their superior commissions Lily Brown to draw up a psychological report on Gordon. But before she can get through to the withdrawn man, he commits suicide. He leaves behind a letter with the message: "Lily Brown will find out what really happened." Although Lily can't make sense of it, she is called in to investigate the circumstances of Gordon's death. In the process, she discovers an incredible conspiracy within the police force.
