Because it offers many opportunities to enjoy cultural experiences together. The Department of Culture organizes an entertaining and varied programme throughout most of the year. In 2025, in addition to the municipal theater as a classical venue, other venues such as Oberstein Castle will also be included.
The new event year starts on January 18, 2025 with the play "Michael Kohlhaas", presented as puppet theater for adults with live music. The novella by Heinrich von Kleist is a piece of world literature of current explosiveness, as if made for the passionate play of the Cipolla stage.
The event continues on February 1, 2025 with a concert by the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie entitled "Wind Serenade". The audience can look forward to works by Weill, Piazolla and Shostakovich.
On March 8, 2025, the theater season at the Stadttheater ends with an extremely entertaining Italian song recital by Dietmar Löffler. The Hamburg Kammerspiele will present "Pasta e Basta" with plenty of wit and charm. Talented actors, an extremely musical troupe and a local top chef serve visitors a theater format that is as extraordinary as it is unforgettable.
