A varied range of food and drink is planned as well as an attractive supporting program. On Thursday and Friday, the Advent glow starts at 5 pm and is therefore ideal as an after-work event. On Saturday, the event starts at 12 noon and will also be fun for the whole family with various children's activities.
Around 10 Christmas-decorated wooden huts and the wine stand, already familiar from the after-work events, are spread out on Schleiferplatz. In addition to the traditional mulled wine, there will also be mulled perol, punch and many other Christmas drinks on offer. There will also be something for every taste when it comes to food. In addition to the traditional grilled dishes, tarte flambée, potato pancakes, waffles and much more will be served.
The varied supporting program leaves nothing to be desired. On Thursday, December 12, after the opening by Lord Mayor Frank Frühauf, the duo L&L Acoustics, who are still fondly remembered from the after-work events, will play. On Friday, 13 December, the Bachwagge will present their Christmas program from 5 p.m., and a DJ will delight the audience before and after the Brady Bradshaw Fireshow. Saturday, December 14 offers musical and dance performances by the Dezibel music school from 12 noon, a Christmas event with Sabrina Hoffmann, before Daisy C. Black presents her musical repertoire and the band Letter and Friends performs. Finally, there will be a fire show before the "Winter Rave" begins in the Tiny Bar.
The "Advent Glow" is financially supported by the federal program "Sustainable Inner Cities and Centers".
Under the motto "Advent glow meets Advent glitter", six participants in the "Open Workshops" will be opening their workshops on Saturday, December 14 from 11 am to 6 pm. These are Andrea Sohne, gemstone cutter Peter Lind, Ulrike Weyrich, Gaby Wandscher, Emmert Design and Goldschmiede Wild.
