From May 24 to 26, 2024, the city of Idar-Oberstein is hosting its 27th Jazz Days. In the pedestrian zone in the Idar district, more than 20 bands will present an exciting and varied program on four stages - and as always, admission is free. The music festival is complemented by an open Sunday, when Idar's retailers invite you to enjoy a leisurely shopping spree. Jazztage Idar-Oberstein is supported by Vereinigte Volksbank-Raiffeisenbank eG, OIE AG, Günther Effgen GmbH, Kirner Privatbrauerei, Schwollener Sprudel, the Bürkle Foundation and the state of Rhineland-Palatinate as part of the cultural summer.

Are the Jazz Days worth something to you?
Then you are welcome to support the festival by purchasing the sponsorship button. Admission to the Jazz Days is still free, but the purchase of the buttons contributes to the refinancing and thus also secures the future realization of the event. For ecological reasons, these are organic buttons which - apart from the safety pin - are 100 percent biodegradable and CO2-neutral.
The badges are available during the festival for 10 euros from the stand operators. They cost 8 euros in advance and are available from the Schulz-Ebrecht and Carl Schmidt bookshops and the Tourist Information Office.
