At the end of the day, the Lions Club even rounded up the donation to 2000 euros. At a joint meeting, the amount was officially handed over to Melissa Becker from the Jugendtreff am Markt (JAM). During the visit to JAM, Melissa Becker gave the Lions Club representatives a tour of the premises and informed them about upcoming events and the good acceptance of the youth club among children and young people in Idar. She was delighted with the generous donation and assured the members of the Lions Club that this amount would be used for the city park. During the tour of the youth club at the market, further ideas were discussed in which the Lions Club could also provide support.
