Kamishibai reading sessions in the city library

These will take place on Wednesday, July 17, Monday, July 22, and Thursday, August 15, 2024, each at 4 p.m. in the city library.

The Japanese storytelling theater Kamishibai is ideal for use in language and reading promotion. Illustrations are shown on large picture cards in a wooden frame that resembles a table theater. At the same time, a narrator reads the story aloud or recites it freely. Kamishibai adds creative elements to picture-based reading and storytelling and creates numerous opportunities for interaction with the children.

The offer is free of charge and suitable for children aged 2 to 6. They must be accompanied by an adult.
