In a small ceremony, Lord Mayor Frank Frühauf, colleagues and staff representatives bid farewell to the cemetery administration officer on her well-deserved retirement.
On August 1, 1975, Gudula Loch began training as an office assistant at the city administration. After successfully passing her exams, she was hired as an employee in the central typing service. From December 2003, she was then employed as a clerk at the urban development office, and in April 2015 she took over the cemetery administration at the municipal building department.
"I didn't actually want to be in the 'office' at first, but I've been in administration for a long time now," said Gudula Loch, looking back on her professional career. Nevertheless, she enjoyed working for the city and is grateful for this job.
The city administration is also grateful for the many years of work and commitment of the future pensioner, explained Lord Mayor Frank Frühauf. Dirk Thomé, the technical manager of the municipal building department, emphasized: "Gudula Loch was a competent employee who had her area of expertise under control." Those present honored Gudula Loch's work with a certificate of thanks and gifts and wished her all the best for the new phase of her life.
