Music mice at the Nahbollenbach daycare center

The offer was made possible by donations from the Lions Club Idar-Oberstein and OIE AG. Thanks to the funding, it is secured for one year and is free of charge for the children. The program complements the extensive early musical education at the music school, which offers far more content.

The "Musik-Mäuse" concept of the dezibel music school is unique in daycare centers and allows every child to participate without having to register for a fee. The program includes singing, rhythmic exercises, small instrument lessons, instrument making, music and dance games as well as musical movements. Every Wednesday, a music teacher comes to the daycare center for 60 minutes. Whether there are two groups of 30 minutes each or three groups of 20 minutes each depends on the children's interest. Up to 20 children and two teachers can take part in each group. Every child who is interested in music is invited. There is no obligation to participate regularly - the children can decide spontaneously.

The teachers at the Nahbollenbach daycare center would like to thank the sponsors as well as the Friends' Association and the Parents' Committee of the daycare center for making the program a reality.
