On December 1, 1999, the business administration graduate was hired by the city administration and was initially responsible for business development and city marketing at the then City Development Office. On January 1, 2004, Claudia Seifert-Scheid was transferred to Building Management, where she was responsible for the introduction of cost and performance accounting. On March 1, 2007, she moved to the city treasurer's office as deputy head and took over as head of the office on January 1, 2013. Four years later, Seifert-Scheid was transferred to the Main Office, where she was given the role of personal assistant to the Lord Mayor.
"Claudia Seifert-Scheid has already taken on a number of responsible tasks in our administration, and she has experienced and achieved a great deal," said the mayor, praising the work of his personal advisor. He has full confidence in Seifert-Scheid and can always rely on her, said Frühauf. This is also necessary, "because in these increasingly difficult times, we still want to achieve a lot together." Senior office administrator Wolfgang Petry also praised her commitment: "She is a valuable support to the administration and approaches tasks analytically and purposefully." Her work has an impact on all departments. Together, they presented Claudia Seifert-Scheid with a certificate of thanks and gifts and wished her all the best for the future.
