While Alisha Kaucher, Elias Martin and Anna Wiedemann began their training as administrative assistants, Jonas Berg is being trained as a plant mechanic / pipe system technology and Jan-Hendrik Brusius as an industrial clerk at Stadtwerke. Fabian Hermann began his training as a road builder at the building depot and Marco Schneberger as a gardener/gardener and landscaper. In addition, Chloe Merscher and Vanessa Österlein are completing their professional internships to obtain state recognition as educators.
"The city is a large employer with very different areas and numerous branch offices," emphasized Mayor Frühauf. With a completed vocational training, many paths are therefore open to the junior staff. However, this also requires continuous further and advanced training.
"We are delighted about the young people who have decided to train with the city," explained Florian Albert, training officer in the HR department. The first steps into working life are something completely different to their previous school education. "But we are happy to support you." Deputy Chairman of the Staff Council Volker Poes and Youth and Trainee Representative Felix Schöneck also encouraged the new employees to contact them at any time with questions or problems. "Much of this can be clarified quickly in conversation, we are always available for you."
