After the start of the new school year, the Staden natural pool will only be open daily from 12.30 pm to 7 pm. Sunday, September 8, 2024, will be the last day the natural pool is open. Following the end of this year's outdoor pool season, preparations are already underway for next year. This is because the wooden surrounds and pool liner in the non-swimmers' area are to be replaced soon.
The Idar-Oberstein indoor pool will still have reduced opening hours in the week following the summer vacation, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. From Monday, September 2, 2024, the indoor pool will return to its regular opening hours: Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
