Punk rock concert at JAM

Admission costs €5. Guests will be the bands summer returns, Lowknox and Alderson.

The show starts at around 7 pm with Alderson. The 5-piece band from Cologne describes their style as somewhere between melodic punk and hardcore punk with German lyrics. Starting as a small side project of two people in a back room of a Cologne digital agency, they have developed into a band combo of good friends over the last five years. They used their stage abstinence during Corona to release their first EP called "Endstation Schlebusch" at the beginning of 2023.

Next on stage will be Lowknox. They have been known since 2009 for their energetic live performances, which thrill the audience every time. Their German lyrics, which deal with profound and controversial topics, manage to reach the hearts and minds of their listeners. The band knows how to reflect current social and political issues in their songs and thus establish a connection with their audience. With their unique sound, which combines elements of classic punk rock with modern influences, Lowknox have developed an unmistakable style that sets them apart from other bands.

The headliners of the evening are summer returns from Saarland. Formerly The Navesink Banks, the 5 guys have been on the road under their new name since the beginning of 2024 and with reinforcements on bass. They describe their style as a mixture of punk rock, indie and emo. They released their first EP Farewell Youth in 2020 and then played a few concerts. They released their latest EP Days at the Dam two years later in summer 2022. It is characterized by emotional lyrics and catchy rock sounds.
