The photo shows a view of the meeting room. The rows of chairs for the council members are arranged in a semi-circle in ascending order. On the wall behind them is an installation showing the outline of the town of Idar-Oberstein with the coats of arms of the individual districts.

New principal at the RSplus

Christian Back most recently worked as deputy principal and didactic coordinator at Moseltal Realschule plus Trier and had applied for the position advertised by the Supervisory and Service Directorate in Idar-Oberstein. The RSplus management team also includes the acting* deputy principal Heike Kuhnen, Julia Molter, acting* deputy principal as didactic coordinator, and Antonia Faber, deputy principal as educational coordinator.

"We are delighted that the position of head teacher has been competently filled for the new school year and that the vacancy has come to an end," emphasized Heike Kuhnen. Together with her colleagues, she is looking forward to working with Christian Back.

(*In this case, temporary does not mean - as is generally the case - that the position is only held temporarily or as a substitute. The position is filled on a permanent basis. However, as the assumption of the function is usually linked to a promotion, the function is initially transferred on a temporary basis. In the vast majority of cases, the position is transferred permanently after one year. However, the position is fully filled at the time of the provisional appointment).
