A colorful afternoon starts at 3 p.m. in the parish hall of St. Walburga Church (entrance via Heckweg). Various activities, in which visitors to the café are also involved, invite people to meet and socialize. Volunteers, sponsors and cooperation partners of the café are looking forward to welcoming many guests!
Fittingly, the birthday of the Begegnungscafé coincides with this year's Intercultural Week, which runs until October 1 and promotes intercultural dialog.
The Begegnungscafé in the Oberstein district was launched a year ago. Since then, it has been a meeting place for adults and children from different backgrounds. On Thursdays in even calendar weeks, interested people meet there to talk to each other, socialize, play games, improve their German language skills and much more.
The meeting café is initiated and supported by the parish of Nahe Glan St. Bonifatius, the Wasenstraße neighborhood management and the Caritasverband Rhein-Hunsrück-Nahe e.V..
- If you have any questions, please contact Deacon Peter Munkes (0151/40807430), Samira Brächer from the Neighborhood Management (0170/3656992) or Andreas Esch from the Caritas Association (0151/65497803). Everyone involved is looking forward to a great event and lots of visitors.
