The Department of Culture offers attractive, exciting and entertaining events throughout the year. The Cultural Office's theater program starts next year with the play "The Judge and his Executioner" based on the novel by Friedrich Dürrenmatt. It continues in March with the play "Dinge, die ich sicher weiß", a production by the Ernst Deutsch Theater Hamburg, which was awarded the 1st INTHEGA Prize "Die NEUBERIN 2022". In April, the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie will perform a concert entitled "In weiblicher Hand". In the summer months, the nationally renowned THEATERSOMMER takes place again. The festival, which lasts several weeks, offers first-class plays and magnificent musical events where visitors can enjoy cultural evenings in the open air.
