In addition to discussing current topics, the main focus was on the social area budget in Idar-Oberstein, which was developed as part of the new daycare law and is now in its second year of implementation. At the conference, the central components of the social area budget concept were examined in more detail.
To this end, the daycare social workers spent six months collecting and evaluating data on daycare social work and the daycare competence network. The results have now been presented to the professionals with the support of the Institut für Sozialpädagogische Forschung Mainz gGmbH (ism). During the course of the event, a lively exchange took place regarding the further establishment and consolidation of the network, which proved to be informative and interesting for those involved.
