Improvisational theater workshop
At the theater workshop, children and young people between the ages of 6 and 16 can discover their talent for improvisation under the guidance of experienced workshop leaders from the Theater 3D ensemble from Wiesbaden. Why improv theater? Improvisational theater requires spontaneity and courage. Improv means freedom, giving space, taking full risks, finding solutions, taking initiative - communication with and without words. In addition to the theater workshop, there will therefore also be communication training.
The workshop will take place from April 3 to 5, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for children aged 6 to 10 in the Göttenbach auditorium and for children aged 11 to 16 in the Heidensteilhalle. There will be a demonstration of the workshops on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 2 pm. Supervision will be provided on all days by the Idar-Oberstein Youth Welfare Office and KIWANIS, and food and drinks will be provided.
Thanks to funding from the federal program "Catching up after Corona" and the support of the LAG Erbeskopf, participation in the workshop is free of charge. Further information and detailed information can be found on the Instagram account jugend_io or on the website jugend-theater-io.de. Registrations can also be sent to the email jugendarbeit@idar-oberstein.de.
