Persons working in the municipal indoor pool and the Staden natural pool must be in possession of the German lifeguard silver badge. Applications from severely disabled persons are expressly welcome. They will be given preferential consideration for employment if they have the same professional and personal aptitude.
The duties include assisting with supervision, particularly at the pool facilities, helping to monitor safety and order, intervening in the event of visitor misconduct, carrying out checks in the ticket office, changing rooms and sanitary facilities and carrying out cleaning and disinfection work. We are looking for people who enjoy working with people, are characterized by flexibility, team spirit and reliability and also have a friendly and open manner. Employment is limited to a maximum of three months or 70 working days within a calendar year and must not be carried out on a professional basis. Payment is based on the minimum wage law and currently amounts to 12 euros per hour.
