To avoid problems with the collection of Christmas trees, the waste disposal company asks you to observe the following: Trees should be put out in good time on the day of collection; preferably the evening before, as collection starts early in the morning. The trees should be clearly visible at the roadside. At this time of year, it is still dark early in the morning, so if the trees are covered by cars or leaning against a hedge, they can easily be overlooked. In bad weather, it can be difficult to drive through narrow streets with large refuse trucks. The trees should then be taken to the nearest easily accessible road. They must also be free of tinsel, artificial snow and other decorations. Larger trees can also be disposed of whole and do not need to be chopped up.
