In order to carry out the work, it is necessary to narrow Mainzer Straße to one lane. Traffic traveling in the direction of Oberstein will be diverted past the construction site, while traffic traveling in the direction of Tiefenstein will be diverted at the Edelstein traffic circle via Kobachstrasse and Bismarckstrasse. Access to Ida-Purper-Straße and Richard-Wagner-Straße from Mainzer Straße will remain open. The work will take around two months to complete.
The city administration asks residents and road users for their understanding for the inconvenience caused by the construction work.
