Kids rocked Erna with rockets

At the children's culture party organized by the city youth welfare office, the ABC kids and future pre-school children were able to experience a special kind of concert at the Idar-Oberstein exhibition centre. "Crash! Boom! Bang!" is the title of the new album by children's rock trio Raketen-Erna. The three-piece combo from Berlin-Kreuzberg has already attracted attention in the past, including on KIKA SingAlarm.

The children were reserved at first, but the mood improved from song to song and the music encouraged them to dance and sing. Songs like "Crash! Boom! Bang!" or "I don't care, I'll leave it like this" were very well received and the hall shook. Raketen-Erna is like no other band in the children's song sector and not only impressed with their instrumental performance, but also with their vocals and expressive lyrics.

Everyone in the audience was thrilled, so of course there had to be an encore. A big compliment goes to the band and both children and teachers hope to hear many more of their pop-rock songs in the future. Thanks also go to the Idar-Oberstein Youth Welfare Office for organizing this great event and the smooth bus transfer for the children.

Sleeping Beauty - completely overslept

The ABC kids set off on a bus to the open-air theater in Katzweiler. The children were very excited and talked a lot during the journey, looked curiously at the surroundings and wondered what the play might be like. The waiting time until the start of the performance was bridged with a snack together on the grounds of the open-air theater.

The photo shows a view of the open-air stage from the audience seats. The performers are all lying on the floor.
The Katzweiler open-air theater presented the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty" in a modern way.

There was a lot to discover there too. The actors wore great costumes and there were one or two funny situations that you hadn't expected. The children experienced the well-known fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty" in a new and modern way, without taking away the charm and content of the classic story.

It was a very special day and the children and teachers would like to thank the parents' committee of the Weierbach daycare center for sponsoring the bus trip to Katzweiler.
