The photo shows a view of the meeting room. The rows of chairs for the council members are arranged in a semi-circle in ascending order. On the wall behind them is an installation showing the outline of the town of Idar-Oberstein with the coats of arms of the individual districts.

Career start at the city administration

Three of the new employees - Darius Oancea, Jan Lucca Scherer and Luca Schmidt - are starting their training as administrative assistants, while Cedric Gosert is training as an IT specialist for system integration. In addition, Henri Adam, Alina Engelmann and Dennis Röder are completing their part-time training as educators, and Samira Jakobi is starting her professional internship to obtain state recognition as an educator.

Mayor Frühauf described the city administration as a good employer that offers many different fields of activity with its numerous departments. During their training, the administrative assistants pass through the various offices and gain an impression of which job suits them best. "You can make a career here with us, and we support our junior staff."

LBB Petry, who is also head of training at the city administration, congratulated the new employees on their first success. "After all, you prevailed against other candidates in the application process." The city administration is constantly on the lookout for additional staff. "Your chances of being taken on after successful training are therefore also good," said LBB, looking to the future.

Susanne Becker and Felix Schöneck welcomed the new colleagues on behalf of the staff representatives. "We are always available for questions or problems and can only encourage you to get involved in your training and in the company." This makes the work all the more fun.
