The photo shows a view of the meeting room. The rows of chairs for the council members are arranged in a semi-circle in ascending order. On the wall behind them is an installation showing the outline of the town of Idar-Oberstein with the coats of arms of the individual districts.

Temperatures in the indoor pool are raised again

Visitors to the Idar-Oberstein indoor pool will be particularly pleased: The lowering of the water and indoor air temperatures by 2° Celsius each has been lifted and they will be raised back to their original values. This means that the water temperature in the teaching pool will be raised again to 30.5° Celsius and the air temperature to 32.5° Celsius, while the water temperature in the large pool will be raised again to 28.5° Celsius and the air temperature to 30.5° Celsius. The water temperature in the children's paddling pool had not been lowered and was still 31.5° Celsius. However, the lower air temperature in the pool area was noticeable here.

In addition - especially in view of the start of the tourist season - the sights will be illuminated again and the fountains will be put back into operation. However, the street lights on the Nahe superstructure between the intersections and outside the bus stops and access routes as well as the street lighting in the outdoor areas (e.g. industrial estates) will remain switched off from 10.30 pm to 5 am.
