Update 27.09.2024:
As previously announced, work on the B41 federal highway will continue between Hüsters Mühle and Kaufacker from around 6 p.m. on October 2. Once this section has been completed, the section between Kaufacker and the "Am Kreuz" industrial estate connection will be built seamlessly from Monday, October 7, with the same traffic detour as for the previous construction section between Weierbach and Hüsters Mühle for the work over the public holiday. Traffic on the B 41 from both directions will be routed in parallel via Kaufacker.
From Monday, October 7, traffic on the B 41 will be diverted as follows for the roadworks between Kaufacker and the "Am Kreuz" industrial estate:
Coming from Idar-Oberstein, the B 41 will be completely diverted at the Nahbollenbach junction. The access road to the B 41 to Kirn is completely closed at the Nahbollenbach junction. Traffic will be routed through Nahbollenbach via Kaufacker to the traffic circle at Globus Getränkemarkt and back onto the B 41 towards Kirn. Stopping and parking will be prohibited in Nahbollenbach and Kaufacker for the duration of the roadworks.
Traffic from Kirn to Idar-Oberstein will remain on the B 41 and will be routed through the roadworks. This half-sided construction method is intended to reduce the impact on residents in Nahbollenbach and Weierbach to a tolerable level. Due to the available lane width and therefore for reasons of traffic and work safety, the maximum permitted speed in the area of the roadworks must be reduced to 30 km/h.
Assuming good weather conditions, the work on this section should be completed within 2 weeks.
The final section of the B 41 renovation between the pedestrian bridge and the Nahbollenbach junction, including the access and exit branches to the B 41 traffic circle, will then be renewed in the near future. This will again be carried out over a weekend and will only have a minor impact on traffic for the neighboring businesses and residents.

The work on the B41 federal highway at the Nahbollenbach junction has been completed for the time being. The last section in this area will only be completed at the end of the overall project in a weekend operation. The renovation section between Kaufacker and the Weierbach/Globus Getränkemarkt exit is currently being started.
Assuming good weather conditions, the section between Hüsters Mühle and Weierbach will be renewed from Friday evening, September 20, to Monday morning, September 23. The section between Kaufacker and Hüsters Mühle will then follow over the long weekend from Wednesday, October 2 to Monday, October 7.
The traffic coming from Idar-Oberstein will be diverted at Kaufacker and can then drive parallel to the B 41 via Kaufacker at the Globus/Getränkemarkt traffic circle back towards Bad Kreuznach. Access from Nahbollenbach (Hauptstraße) to Kaufacker is only permitted via the B 41. Coming from Kirn, traffic will be diverted at Globus and then, following the detour signs at Kaufacker, will be guided back onto the B 41 towards Idar-Oberstein via a temporary access road. Access from Kaufacker to Nahbollenbach is not possible. Residents are requested to continue on the B 41 and use the Nahbollenbach junction. Stopping and parking will be prohibited on the "Kaufacker" road for the duration of the construction work.
Following this extensive work, the intermediate section between Kaufacker and the Nahbollenbach junction will be renewed. The LBM Bad Kreuznach will provide further information on this in due course.
