FEDERAL VOLUNTARY SERVICE

The Federal Voluntary Service (BFD ) opens up a completely new perspective for citizens (m/f/d) who are looking to enter the world of work, who would like to reorient themselves professionally or who are already retired but would like a useful and fulfilling task.

The city administration of Idar-Oberstein offers opportunities to complete a Federal Volunteer Service in the Youth Welfare Office, Cultural Office and in our Play & Learning Center.

What we offer

  • Pocket money in the amount of 400 euros
  • Payment of statutory health, pension, unemployment and accident insurance (both employer and employee contributions)
  • Vacation entitlement of 30 days per year
  • Educational support and seminars
  • Upon termination: Receipt of a certificate stating the nature and duration of the voluntary service
