The idea
The funding program enables new concepts to set up shop in a central downtown location, which was previously unaffordable for start-ups. A subsidized rent allows exciting retail concepts to be tried out in the pop-up store. The project will run until 31.08.2025.
We want to enable new and young concepts to try their hand at locations that are difficult to afford, especially when starting out on their own. The aim is to enable success and to be able to keep the entrepreneurs at the location even after the end of the program. Applications can be submitted immediately to the City of Idar-Oberstein's business development department. A group of experts will decide who will move into the store premises available for selection and with which concept. It is also possible to combine several concepts.
